With this feature, available on Pixel models and the Samsung Galaxy S24 series, you can now perform specialized searches by circling any part of an image or screenshot (such as a travel bag, shoes, or a phone). Google Chrome is set to roll out this feature to both Windows and macOS users soon.

Initially announced with the Galaxy S24 series earlier this year, the new feature later expanded to many Android smartphones and subsequently to iPhones via the Google Lens shortcut. Recent updates reveal that the Circle to Search feature will now also be available for desktop users.

The Circle to Search feature is now accessible with a new Google Lens shortcut for both Chrome and Chromebooks. By clicking on the new button added to the address bar, you can bring up a command line and scan the selected area online via Google Lens.
